Get to know me
I am a Researcher Engineer at Dominion Energy, specializing in studying grid dynamics using fast synchrophasor data. My work involves analyzing events such as system oscillations, monitoring the behavior of inverter-based resources, and collaborating with internal customers to identify problems and provide data-driven solutions. Additionally, I research new methods and algorithms to enhance our analytics, ensuring the grid's reliability and stability.
I obtained my Ph.D. from Washington State University in 2023, where I worked as a graduate research assistant. My research focused on power systems stability and control, particularly developing applications using synchrophasor data for monitoring power system oscillations. I created tools to locate the source of forced oscillations in power systems and explored machine learning and deep learning applications in power systems, leveraging synchrophasor data.
Outside of my professional and academic pursuits, I have a deep passion for reading, traveling, and cooking. Music is a crucial part of my life, and I am always enthusiastic about discussing research, outdoor activities, new recipes, or song recommendations. If you are interested in collaborating on projects or have any questions about my work, feel free to reach out. I am always open to new conversations and opportunities.
